The project team is launching the stress tests in all 9 regional agrofood systems
Athens and SEVT, the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries, hosted the meeting of PEFMED project on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2017. The meeting focused on the methodological approach run by the Life Cycle Analysis experts to run the stress tests on the 9 agrofood clusters where the posture the PEF environmental standards is assessed.
So far, all product categories - ranging from wine to olive oil, from packed water to cheese – are chosen and roughly 50 companies are already participating in the environmental performance audits. Rooms for interaction were also dedicated to the LIFE FOODPRINT project and the Green Growth community projects.
