PEFMED final publication “Innovation and sustainability in the Mediterranean agri-food systems”

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia - Chamber of Agricultural and Food Enterprises has published the final report “Innovation and sustainability in the Mediterranean agri-food systems”being the culmination of 3 years of the PEFMED project.

The document contains the following project results:

 

  • the description of the PEFMED method and of the sup­porting tools developed during the project
  • the main environmental and socio-economic results from the project pilot phase in the nine agri-food product chains as well as the identified improvement options;
  • the PEFMED position paper, presenting the conclusions drawn by the project partners about the use of the PE­FMED method in Mediterranean agri-food supply chains, focused on the application of PEF and based on the ex­periences exchanged with all the stakeholders involved in the project pilot phase.
